Are you in need of counseling or a runaway shelter? We can help. When you seek services from the REACH program at Reach Resource Services, you'll get access to 100% FREE counseling. Whether working on issues in shelter or weekly from home, you’ll have time with a professional who actively listens to your fears and problems.

Empowering Youth in Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee Counties

Counseling services are available for up to 90 days, whether or not you choose to stay in shelter. During this time, you’ll meet with your counselor once a week for a one-hour session, either individually or with your family. If you decide to stay in shelter, you’ll also have daily one-on-one sessions with your counselor, along with weekly family meetings. Together, you’ll work to create a personalized plan and set goals to help address challenges at home and support your path forward.

Completely free shelter and comfortable living are available to you for up to 21 days. REACH residents are completely supervised at all times. Parental consent must be given and it is your choice whether to stay or not to. You can return home anytime you feel you no longer need shelter.

If you’ve become overwhelmed at home by conflict, negative emotions, or a traumatizing event, you can find safe, 100% confidential refuge with REACH. Our REACH program is for youths aged 10 through 17 and offers vital support when you need it most. Our main goal is to reunite you with your family. You might benefit from our services if you're:
