REACH

REACH

REACH services are available to any youth, ages 10-17, who is considered to be a runaway, homeless, or at-risk individual. The goal is to resolve conflicts and reunify families whenever possible.

Our Services include:

  • Crisis Intervention

  • Individual and Family Counseling

  • Voluntary Shelter 24/7

  • Family Reunification

  • Resource Assistance

REACH offers shelter, for up to 21 days, to youth who are in need and appropriate for services. Parental permission is obtained before program entry.

Should shelter not be requested, counseling is still offered for up to 90 days to assist families in improving their situation.

If a youth decides to stay in shelter, they are asked to abide by house rules, participate in daily counseling and group activities, share in household chores, and, if possible, attend school. We encourage youth to take advantage of our shelter component to “cool off”, access safe housing to talk to someone about their situation. If a youth chooses to leave REACH shelter, parents are notified right away.
